Large hotel with spacious feel, huge comfortable room, big breakfast room with good selection including eggs and bacon, front line with great views of the bay and one street back into the old town for tapas, perfect location for a stay before or after the ferry as five minutes from the terminal, roomy underground car park accessed by easy to use lift down and back up. The hotel has two helpful signs to direct you in, but note the second is directing you to the next right which is a shared vehicle/pedestrian zone where the hotel is at the end, not the road where the sign is located which will take you back out to the main road though it is simple to circle back if you go wrong (as I did!).

Hotel is in a great location right beside the Centro Botin & Santander Cathedral with lovely views from the bedroom. There are lots of lovely restaurants around the area. The beaches are about 2km walk/cycle. We booked a suite to accommodate our family of 4. The suite was very spacious, comfortable & good value. Breakfast was included & had several choices. The staff were friendly & helpful. We also booked the parking for €16 per day which was very handy. There was a festival on outside the hotel the weekend we stayed so there was noise up to about midnight but we didn’t mind as we enjoyed the festival. Overall a good central hotel to stay and good value.

Beautiful modern hotel right on the sea front with stunning views over the bay. Our hotel room and bathroom were large with a beautiful sea view. Staff were very helpful. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as it was expensive (although there was a lovely cafe on the ground floor where you could have a hot drink and pastries for breakfast at a good price). The restaurant was packed on Sunday which indicates the food must be very good. Fantastic location by the sea front and next to the old town. Easy to get a bus directly to the beautiful beaches. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Very good value for money.

Great location. Close to the train station, easy to walk to and close to attractions. Staff OK very good Didn't have breakfast Good shower Large room with safe and good wifi But there are two issues First day. The room was hot I had to open the window and then the noise got loud I slept very badly Second and third day. A hotel technician came and turned on the air conditioning to cool it down Just a little but enough for a very pleasant temperature. The windows were closed and the noise didn't bother us The mattress could be a little firmer but it was acceptable

We had stayed before when catching a ferry and couldn’t believe how good value this classy hotel was for the location a stone’s throw from the terminal. It still is with nicely remodelled common areas. If you don’t pay for a sea view and are high enough you will have a view of the charming cathedral. There is a nice park and the promenade opposite. Shops and restaurants just behind. 2 doors away is a branch of the 100 montaditos budget bar chain which was a godsend for us in killing time before staggering over the road to a seriously delayed ferry.
